Experience and Background:
Robin Davis was born and raised in San Francisco. She attended Balboa High School, graduating in 1977. Her first job was with Metropolitan Life Insurance the same year. Robin decided to attend beauty college, from which she graduated in 1978, obtaining her cosmetologist license. Robin worked as a hair stylist for several years, but did not feel like it was her calling.
In the meantime, Robin’s mother started a career in real estate, became a Sr. loan processor, and opened a mortgage loan center in Burlingame. Her mother insisted that Robin come and work for her. She had no idea what she was doing, but caught on quickly, teaching herself loan processing. After working for her mother, Robin continued loan processing at Fremont Bank, Golden One, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, WMC, and the Pacific Union. She is currently with Finance of America. That seems like a lot of lenders, but her career has spanned three decades so far.
After a layoff in 2015, she decided to attend Kaplan Real Estate School, where she studied all the required courses for her salesperson license. She passed the exam on her first attempt, and received her Realtor license.
Robin emphasizes an honest, pragmatic, and efficient approach to this business. She does not shy away from directness, and she is known in the industry as a professional who gets to the truth as a way of getting things done. Robin also rejects the “one-size-fits-all” approach when working with her clients. She is a student of humanity who is curious about the backgrounds and interests of each and every client – and how these particular details can help in the buying and selling process.
